Get back, honky cat.

If you haven't already seen it, the internet "trailer" for the new Cameron Crowe film Elizabethtown is available here, and once again, the director of Say Anything and Almost Famous seems hellbent on making Elton John cool again (mission accomplished: I've spent the last five hours obsessively trying to download Tumbleweed Connection). The trailer is an inexplicably huge file, but well worth the download. If there was any question that this movie might not be flat out wonderful, take a long look at the five second shot of Orlando Bloom applauding Susan Sarandon's dance routine. Plus, Bruce McGill is in it! And My Morning Jacket!

Thanks for the hook up C-Note. You are most defs getting some more link love form Rock Snob tomorrow. That trailer was great. If there's one thing that Crowe does better than any other mainstream director out there right now it's how to really use a soundtrack effectively.
